The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre
Anthony Peake is the author of a number of books discussing the science of altered-states of consciousness and the mysteries of the mind-body interface. His books have been translated into various foreign language editions and he has spoken at events in Europe, the United States and Australia. He also regularly appears on radio stations, podcasts and TV across the English-speaking world.
In early 2016 he appeared on national television in France and Germany discussing his biography of the American science fiction writer Philip K. Dick. His latest book, Opening The Doors of Perception, which was published on September 15 2016, is a radical and neurologically-based analysis of altered states of consciousness.
In his talk at the Arthur Conan Doyle Centre, he will be discussing, the overall hypothesis presented in this highly anticipated book, which updates the themes of Aldous Huxley’s 1954 book The Doors of Perception in the light of 21st century science.
Enjoy a rare opportunity to hear the great Anthony Peake, in an intimate venue, where you will be able to ask questions and exchange with Peake, at the end of his Talk.
