June 2021 Forecast
June looks like it is going to be a busy month, especially that we will be in an eclipse season. The first three weeks of June, being Gemini season (Sun in Gemini) shift our focus to communication, networking, sharing our ideas and overall being busy with many different topics. However, as Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is retrograde until 23rd of June, our communication might be blocked in some way. Mercury retrograde can bring disruptions to travel, internet and the general flow of information. Our minds might be scattered, yet, we are unable to release this energy. In fact, this retrograde period might be a blessing in disguise, as the fast moving energy of Gemini can be like a butterfly- flying here and there and yet, getting nothing done. Retrogrades are a good time to go back to certain topics, rework our plans, restructure them, rewrite any work or rethink what we have come up with so far.
The solar eclipse on the 10th intensifies the airy energy of Gemini. Expect powerful messages being revealed or fated connections forming. Eclipses bring to light whas has been hidden and force us to deal with what has been exposed. Issues to do with media, spread of information and facts and statistics can be the main focus in the society. The energy of an eclipse continues for roughly six months, until the next eclipse season (the next eclipse will be on 19th November).
As Jupiter starts its retrograde motion on 21st June and the Sun enters Cancer on the 22nd, we start to direct our energy inwards. Cancer is a water sign ruled by the Moon, therefore it is connected with our emotions and feelings as well as with our sense of safety. It is a good time to look back at the last three months, when the Sun entered Aries (22nd March). What have we started or worked on during this time? Now, as the outer planets go retrograde one by one, we will have an opportunity to assess our current situation, rework areas of our life we are unhappy with and clear out energies we no longer need.
The full moon in Capricorn on the 24th can bring feelings of isolation and sadness. The Moon deals with our subconscious and instinctive reactions, therefore if we are not in tune with our emotions we might feel surprised by the energy of this full moon. Yet, with the Sun in Cancer, we are asked to direct our consciousness to our inner child- how can we nurture ourselves and provide the safest environment we can retreat to. What is our lunar food? What do we need to feel emotionally secure- is it meaningful relationships, stable income, a feeling of freedom? For more hints look at where the moon is in your birth chart. This nurturing energy is amplified by Venus in Cancer- we might be looking for some warmth in our connections with others and value them more than usual. Yet, with Venus opposing Pluto we have to be careful with thinking that others can fully fill up any emotional black holes. Ultimately, we are responsible for fulfilling our emotional needs and cannot shift this task to other people. This full moon is a good opportunity to connect with our inner mother and father figures and discover a bit more about how we can deal with issues of loneliness and sadness. Additionally, it would be helpful to look for any family patterns that have been passed on for generations and determine whether these patterns are beneficial or detrimental.
Family, safety and home will be the focus for the last week and a half of June. Take the time to relax, retreat and replenish your energy. It will be necessary for the upcoming Leo season in July!
