December 5th – December 16th 2022
A Special Christmas Fortnight of events at the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre
As always, the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre will be closing over the Christmas and New Year period – this year from Friday, 16th December to Monday, 9th January 2023.
HOWEVER – before we get to that – we have some special events and offerings for you happening here in the building between the 5th and 16th December.
Thanks to COVID 19, the last couple of winters turned out to be extremely challenging and sometimes isolating periods for many of us. We wanted to make that different this year and so we encourage you, our supporters, to come in for a visit and enjoy a bit of warmth and festive spirit here in the Centre.
We’ll have some mulled wine and mince pies on offer in the tearoom, discounted shop items – not to mention our very own *Crystal Cracker* inventions for sale in the tearoom.
We would also encourage you to come in to view some of the work or our resident artists which is on display in the Helen Duncan room.
One of our more recent artists, Alena Rogozhkina from Ukraine, who joined us in 2022, has created an installation around the theme of Time in relation to the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre.
This will be set up in the reception area, at the foot of our magnificent staircase and you will be invited to record your own thoughts and ideas around the concept of Time and our Centre if you wish to do so.
If you would like to find out more about Alena and her installation you can do so here.
And please click on the relevant links below if you are interested in signing up for any of Christmas Fortnight events. You can also view all of the events here.
We hope to see you soon!
