DESCRIPTION:We know that our minds are made up of conscious and subconscious parts and that the subconscious part is the larger.  Our subconscious minds communicate with us in symbols\, feelings and other subtle ways. \nMeditation helps us to communicate with our subconscious mind and learn how it works with us on our spiritual paths. \nThis hour-long session will create space for that inner journey in a safe and supportive environment.  It will begin with a guided meditation\, followed by a time of peace and serenity for us to allow our subconscious minds to communicate with us. \nNo need to book\, just turn up! The Yang style is one of the three main styles of Tai Chi Chu’uan which Harriet learned first from her mother as well as many other teachers. She uses aspects of Chinese philosophy\, poetry and art to understand the physical form of the Tai Chi. \nHarriet Devlin is the daughter of Gerda Geddes- the pioneer European woman who learnt the Tai Chi in China in the late 1940’s and who studied Chinese philosophy\, poetry and art to discover the inner meanings of the form. The Tai Chi Chu’uan is a ancient Chinese exercise form that involves the body\, mind and spirit. \nOn one level the form marks the stages of the human journey through life\, on another it exercises the body and calms the mind \, and it can also be used as a martial art. DESCRIPTION:We know that our minds are made up of conscious and subconscious parts and that the subconscious part is the larger.  Our subconscious minds communicate with us in symbols\, feelings and other subtle ways. \nMeditation helps us to communicate with our subconscious mind and learn how it works with us on our spiritual paths. \nThis hour-long session will create space for that inner journey in a safe and supportive environment.  It will begin with a guided meditation\, followed by a time of peace and serenity for us to allow our subconscious minds to communicate with us. \nNo need to book\, just turn up! She uses aspects of Chinese philosophy\, poetry and art to understand the physical form of the Tai Chi. \nHarriet Devlin is the daughter of Gerda Geddes- the pioneer European woman who learnt the Tai Chi in China in the late 1940’s and who studied Chinese philosophy\, poetry and art to discover the inner meanings of the form. The Tai Chi Chu’uan is a ancient Chinese exercise form that involves the body\, mind and spirit. \nOn one level the form marks the stages of the human journey through life\, on another it exercises the body and calms the mind \, and it can also be used as a martial art.
