David Hamilton – How your mind can heal your body

Date(s) - 03/10/2017
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre

We are excited to announce that we have David Hamilton joining us for our October edition of our #TuesdayTalks series here at the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre. Each month we invite a different esteemed member of the psychical community to talk at the centre and give the audience a look into a different aspect.

After completing his PhD, David worked as a scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, developing drugs for cardiovascular disease and cancer. Inspired by the placebo effect, he left the job to study and write about the impact of mind and emotions on our health. David is now the author of nine books and is working on his 10th. He writes a regular blog on his website and occasional blogs for the Huffington Post and Psychologies Life Labs. In 2016, he was voted ‘Best MBS Writer’ by readers of Kindred Spirit Magazine.

Come along to the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre for a truly interesting evening to learn about the mind healing the body and how mindfulness impacts the brain. You will also learn some practical strategies for harnessing the mind-body connection based on successful strategies used by people who have recovered from injury and illness.

Tickets are just £5.00 and can be purchased either online using the below form or over the phone on 0131 625 0700.

This event is fully booked.
