We are delighted to announce that well-known Scientist David R Hamilton is back at the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre for the March edition of our Tuesday Talks series!

We had the pleasure to welcome Doctor David R Hamilton in 2017 for an interesting evening that revealed practical strategies for enhancing our mind-body connections. A truly inspiring moment as we learned about the mind healing the body and how mindfulness impacts the brain.

On the 5th March, our speaker and acclaimed Author of 9 books, including the Amazon Top 5 bestseller, will discuss ‘The Science of Self Esteem’ at the Centre.

David Hamilton blends hard science with theory to give a fresh new approach to self-improvement and change. His scientific background adds credibility, which makes people all the more likely to listen to what he has to say.”

David J Clarkson, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, former Head of Private Business – Scotland

After completing his PhD, David worked as a scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, developing drugs for cardiovascular disease and cancer. Inspired by the placebo effect, he left the job to study and write about the impact of mind and emotions on our health.

David is now the author of eleven books, and he writes a regular blog on his website and occasional blogs for the Huffington Post and Psychologies Life Labs. In 2016, he was voted ‘Best MBS Writer’ by readers of Kindred Spirit Magazine.

David has been featured on Channel 4’s, ‘Sunday Brunch Live’ in the UK as well as CBS Sunday Morning in the USA, discussing the astonishing impact of kindness and compassion on health. He has done a TEDx talk on kindness and is the Kindness Tsar for Psychologies Magazine, the UK’s leading mindful living magazine.
