In the last of our Tuesday Talks for 2018, the controversial former bishop talks about his latest book which deals with the ultimate question of life and death, titled “Waiting for the last bus – reflections on life and death”. It follows his highly-acclaimed autobiography “Leaving Alexandria” which was short-listed for a literary award.

Richard will meet with Ann Treherne, Chair of The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre, for an interview-led talk in which Richard will show us why he is becoming a leading figure in the arts and literature scene in Scotland.

For the past five decades, Richard Holloway has been producing books that have stirred the pool of theological wisdom and his acute mind shows no sign of losing its energy. His views on the bible, sexuality and the Christian Church shook foundations.

Join us on Tuesday 4th December from 7.30pm, to listen to a moving and profound exploration of life’s greatest mystery.
