What’s the Point of Paranormal Investigation?
What is the ‘evidence’? How can we gather evidence? Has paranormal investigation established anything? Or solved anything? Join Innes Smith on the 4th February 2020 as he will explore these questions and provide a historical context for the debate as well as citing examples from the SSPR’s own case files. This talk will prove to be enlightening and entertaining for anyone interested in the paranormal – whether an investigator or not!
Innes Smith has been a member of the Scottish Society for Psychical Research for over twenty years, at times leading the Investigation Group and organising investigations of allegedly haunted locations. His interests go beyond ghosts and haunting and include all manner of paranormal phenomena. Professionally he is a writer and voice actor, mainly working in Animation or Radio.
