Comprehensive Astrology
Join Astrologer Kat Wojdyla for a 4-Week odyssey through your birth chart. This short course aims to educate you enough to understand chart symbologies.
Do you know what the squares, triangles and stars symbolise on your birth chart? What about all the colourful lines in the middle of the birth chart wheel? Do you understand the significance of a Mercury and Venus conjunction? Or what Saturn trine Jupiter means? Or Sun square Pluto? If you don’t know but would like to learn from an experienced Astrologer, this is the course for you.
In four weeks you will become familiar with the ten planets present in your birth chart – all the way from the Sun to Pluto (Yes – for astrologers the Sun, the Moon and Pluto are considered planets!). You will also learn what aspects are. Discover why they have their own unique energies and how they can bring two (or more) planets to work together in a birth chart.
What to Expect
This short course takes place over 4 weeks totalling 6 hours of class time.
Class is delivered in lecture format via ZOOM. You are encouraged to take notes and participate in discussions.
These are the main points covered in this short course:
+ The ten planets: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
+ The unique energies of each planet: Archetypes, interpretation and an intro to essential dignities.
+ The major aspects: conjunction, sextile, square, trine and opposition. This includes aspect energy, aspect technicalities (orbs, applying and separating aspects), planets in aspects to each other and aspect grading.
Suitable for all levels. All sessions recorded.
Course Breakdown
12th April 2021 | Week 1 | Personal Planets
Start the course by looking at the personal planets in a birth chart: the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars. Discuss what each planet symbolises, its energy and how it operates in a chart. A short introduction to the concept of essential dignities.

19th April 2021 | Week 2 | Outer Planets
Planets Continued: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Compare the outer and personal planets’ energies. Explore their importance in a birth chart.
26th April 2021 | Week 3 | Aspects
Focused on the major aspects: conjunction, opposition, square, sextile and trine. Discuss what the energy of each aspect is and why it has it. Technical information on orbs, applying and separating aspects and aspects out of sign.
3rd May 2021 | Week 4 | Planets & Aspects
Consolidate your learning to identify important aspects in a birth chart. Discover why some aspects are experienced more intensely. Look at the combination of aspects between inner and outer planets.
About Kat Wojdyla
Kat Wojdyla is an astrologer, particularly interested in psychological and karmic astrology. Her aim is to translate the astrological language into a personal story which can serve as a reference for personal development. After all, we are all part of the cosmos, participating in the infinite dance of planets and stars. You can either stay confused by the celestial spins or join the party and have fun.
Kat has studied astrology with Anna Estaroth from the Scottish Astrological Association, attended numerous workshops with Bernadette Brady and Darrelyn Gunzburg of AstroLogos and is constantly building on her knowledge of astrology through theoretical and practical approach to the subject.
