Broadcast journalist and BBC presenter, Connie McLaughlin discusses how early anomalous experiences led to her life-long investigation of the afterlife. Connie shares how she came out of the spiritual closet and her thoughts on spirituality now.

About the Speaker

Connie McLaughlin

Broadcast Journalist and Presenter

Connie McLaughlin is a highly rated and in-demand broadcast journalist and presenter. As of February 2020, Connie has her own BBC morning radio show called Sunday Morning with Connie McLaughlin with a weekly guest covering two hours of music and conversation with a faith and ethical perspective. She also recently started a podcast along the same lines which you can check out here.
 
Having established herself in radio as a presenter and reporter at Radio Clyde in Scotland, Connie is now a regular Scottish reporter on BBC 5 Live and has also presented on Sky Sports News Radio and BBC Radio Scotland.
 
In 2015 after being awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership, Innovation and Coaching, Connie started wellness consultancy Inner Buzz and used her knowledge of mindfulness, positive psychology and meditation to help Premier League Football Teams and players north and south of the border with performance. As well as having regular corporate clients in Chicago and Los Angeles.
 
She’s a regular speaker and media contributor in the UK and US and uses her knowledge as the basis for her Sunday Morning BBC Scotland radio program. She’s passionate about animal welfare and was lucky enough to spend time volunteering with a dog charity in Bali in 2017 and now campaigns for DALI Dogs after rescuing her Cypriot street dog Luna with their help.
