Befriend death in a one of a kind workshop.
A workshop about death may not sound appealing but, what if you were guaranteed that you could learn to look death in the face long before you actually needed to, and make peace with it, even befriend it?
Our newest workshop offers a radical journey to the edge of your comfort zone looking at death as a teacher.
Why should I attend?
Death is part of life. It walks alongside us everyday, and yet it is taboo in our culture. Being comfortable with death is liberating and offers a new found appreciation for life. We will look at attitudes towards death, examine the language we use, explore our experiences and fears and take action to walk towards them.
What to expect?
Discussion, exploration, reflective writing and we shall finish the day with a very special labyrinth walk. The labyrinth has been used for millennia, as a tool where seekers come to find answers to help signpost the next steps on their life journey.
Be prepared for a radical shift, allowing the old to die to give birth to the new, leaving you with renewed vigour and vitality.
About Loretta Dunn
Loretta Dunn is a Life Celebrant, certified spiritual advisor, psychic medium and healer. She was a nurse and midwife during a career spanning 36 years, where she supported countless women on their birthing journey. More recently she has had much experience companioning the dying, and working with families to create funeral ceremonies honouring the life of their loved ones.
Loretta has complemented her natural psychic abilities with mediumship training, in the company of some of the most internationally recognised spiritual teachers such as Tony Stockwell, Lisa Williams, June Field, James Van Praagh and Sandra Aetheris.
Loretta is passionate about bringing death out of the shadows as a means of helping us to live our best life in the present moment. Compassion and love are at the heart of her work. Birth and death are part of life’s journey, however where we would plan for a birth, we prefer to shy away from looking at death, and yet, it is the only thing that we can truly guarantee.
As a workshop facilitator, Loretta will use her extensive knowledge to pave the way for a positive experience as we dive in to this fascinating subject and learn to look at death without fear.
