Be Immersed in The Way of Tea

The Japanese tea ceremony, known as the Way of Tea, is a Japanese cultural activity involving the ceremonial preparation and presentation of matcha, powdered green tea. At this event you will be able to experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and enjoy a bowl of matcha.

You will be introduced to general customs associated with a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. This is followed by a demonstration of a tea ceremony, with an ongoing description of the process, actions, gestures, objects used and the ritual. Finally, you will have a chance to try matcha accompanied by a Japanese sweet.
