About

New Moon – Convene, Connect, Harmonise

Join us on Friday the 16th of October as we open ourselves up to the energy of the New Moon. Four seasoned practitioners will guide you through four different yet connected spiritual experiences.

The New Moon provides the thread to connect everything and immerse you in what the cosmos is offering you. You will be first informed about the energies which surround this new moon by astrologer, Kat Wojdyla. Then Joan Frew will share her knowledge about crystals and the moon – discover which crystals are best to connect to the new moon’s energy. Betty Jane Ware will discuss the new moon and how it relates to esoteric practice and ritual. Finally, Sophie O’Brien will bring the event to a close with a New Moon meditation. At 8.30pm the meditation will synchronises with the moon transitioning in the New Moon phase.

What to Expect on this New Moon Workshop

The upcoming New Moon is a Super New Moon. To celebrate this, we have enlisted some of our most knowledgable practitioners to give you an immersive spiritual experience.

This is a communal event so expect to share the energy with a like-minded community. You don’t need to bring anything except an open mind and an open heart.

About Joan Frew

Joan Frew is from Troon on the beautiful west coast of Scotland. She is a well-known Spiritual Medium, Reiki Practitioner, Teacher, Psychic and also a Holistic Therapist who offers many types and combinations of treatments – Reiki, Sound Therapy and Crystal Healing to name a few.

Joan has always been drawn to all aspects of Spiritualism, but it was only after she attended a week-long course in Stirling, with the Scottish Spiritual College, that the Spirit World and experiences from her earlier years all began to make sense. After this, the world of Spiritualism opened up very quickly and being eager to learn more, she began attending weekly development circles and courses through the Arthur Findlay College, Arthur Conan Doyle Centre and several other Spiritual Churches. For Joan, Spiritualism felt like truly coming home. In fact, it was at the Arthur Findlay College, early in Joan’s development, that her Tutor, Thelma Francis, told her that one day, she would teach.

Whether providing a Spiritual or a Psychic reading using cards, platform work or in private readings, it is the evidence and information that only the recipient would know that makes her work as a Medium worthwhile. To feel the love of Spirit is a blessing, to be able to share it with others is the gift from Spirit.

About Sophie O’Brien

Sophie has been a practicing Yogi for the last three years. Last year Sophie completed her Yoga Alliance certified 200 hour yoga teacher training in Goa, India. She studied Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, Acro, Aerial Yoga and Meditation.

‘Learning Yoga in it’s birthplace has gifted me a wonderful knowledge of the authentic practise, where focus was very much on the spiritual above the physical, and emphasis on Yogic philosophy was prevalent.’

-Sophie O’Brien

The spiritual and philosophical side of Yoga is wonderful, but when you apply anatomy and science to these concepts, and see how they physically translate in to our bodies and minds, that’s where the magic happens.

Sophie believes this magic is in all of us. Come and practise with her and you too will realise your power and potential.
