An Initiation for New Witches
This intensive workshop introduces newcomers to the fundamentals of witchcraft. A shared experience to bring magic into your daily life. This is where you will learn the history of the craft from an experienced Witch. You’ll also learn how to cast a circle properly and the importance of doing so. You’ll learn about spells and how, when, and why to cast them. You will create a Book of Shadows and learn about different craft traditions. Your Book of Shadows will be something you can take home and utilise everyday.
This is a level one class. Levels two and three will be offered at later dates.
What to Expect on this Workshop
Join us for an intensive introduction to the basics of Witchcraft. The course will include the following:
-History of Witchcraft
-Wheel of the Year
-Witches Tools
-Working with the Elements
-Relationship between the Goddess and God
-Moon Magic
-Keeping a book of Shadows
-Journeying techniques and visualization
-Spell Crafting
-Basic Circle Casting
By the end, you will know more about the basics of Witchcraft and may feel comfortable in joining in a ritual. You will be given the chance to take a simple Rite of Dedication. This Rite simply marks your desire to walk a Craft Path and to learn the ways of the Wise in whatever form you choose.
