A spiritual home for Scotland’s second-oldest Spiritualist Church and to welcome people of all beliefs and backgrounds seeking spiritual growth, connection, and wellbeing.
The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre was founded in 2011 to provide a spiritual home for Scotland’s second-oldest Spiritualist Church and to welcome people of all beliefs and backgrounds seeking spiritual growth, connection, and wellbeing. The Centre aims to provide an inclusive environment to nurture the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing of all who come through its doors.
Guided by the original vision of our partners and the foundations established by the Centre’s first chair, Ann Treherne, 2026 marked a moment of renewal and shared purpose. Through a partnership between the Spiritualists’ National Union Trust, the Edinburgh Association of Spiritualists, and the Spiritualists’ National Union, the Centre enters a new chapter—strengthening the bonds between Spiritualism and community and extending a warm welcome to people across Edinburgh and Scotland.
