The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre was formed to provide for the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of society and community needs in Edinburgh. It also became home to The Edinburgh Association of Spiritualists in October 2011. Situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End, the Centre is accommodated in the splendid surroundings of an elegant Victorian town house, which is operated by The Palmerston Trust; a Registered Charity in Scotland (SC042492).
Amongst the services which are offered in the Centre there are private psychic/spiritual readings, open circles, workshops in mediumship, spiritual ability classes, healing workshops, and many more. You can see what’s on here. We also play host to world famous mediums who display their skills through demonstrations and teach others to develop theirs through workshops.
A number of therapists work from the Centre and offer services ranging from hypnotherapy to massage, counselling, reflexologists, healers, and more. As well as therapies, the building hosts artists and a writing school which is only fitting, being named after one of time’s greatest writers. You can see some of our therapists and collaborators listed here.
We also offer room hire for private groups which can include anything from corporate board meetings to venue hire for concerts or art events. The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre offers a stunning and unique building to host a variety of events.
The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is organizing an Art Exhibition this summer from the 5th of July to the 31st of August which is introducing our artists’ work whose studios are within the Centre!
From Representational to Abstract, our exhibition will be featuring landscapes, portraits as well as abstract paintings which shape and form do not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality. This exhibition tends to offer an interesting diversity of styles and might require your own interpretation.
