Edinburgh Speakers Club (http://www.edinburghspeakersclub.org) was formed in September 2008 and is a member of the Association of Speakers Clubs (https://the-asc.org.uk/). We are a social learning club that come together with the common interest of wanting to improve our public speaking skills. A typical club night includes speeches and evaluations, a fun topics session and an interval for a relaxing chat!

By being part of the club you can learn public speaking and communication skills, chairmanship and meeting procedure and evaluation techniques all in a friendly and supportive environment. We offer a unique experience in that when anyone stands up to speak in the club, the entire audience wants them to succeed.

We have members who are in their 20’s and members who are retired. Some are experts in the field of public speaking but most of us are just learning! Regardless of age, background or ability, we all want to learn how to be better at speaking in front of people. We look forward to seeing you soon!
