Initially working psychically giving card readings, in his thirties, he joined the SNU while in Preston, Lancashire and went through development at the Moor Lane Spiritualist Church.
Efrem served the churches of North West England until 2007 and continued to give private readings until his move to Scotland in 2010. A trained Hypnotherapist, and now based in the Lothians, Efrem leads a meditation group for the Edinburgh Association of Spiritualists and he is once again available for private sittings at the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre.
